When the Easy Wave series was introduced, gardeners wondered how the other Waves could possibly be improved upon. Covered with awards and honors, fan favorites in gardens across the country, they seemed invincible. Petunia Wave had taken the gardening world by storm since its introduction a few years ago, with a spreading habit and quick growth coupled with masses of blooms. But gardeners soon found that Easy Wave doesn’t replace the regular Wave—it complements it.

Easy Wave doesn’t reach quite as far as the older Waves, but it stands up “taller,” reaching 6 to 12 inches high and trailing 2½ to 3 feet or more. You will love the endless bloom power and the improved shape of this plant, which is ideal for hanging baskets, window boxes, and flowerpots of all kinds.

Silver sets wide open 2-to 3-inch blooms of luminous pale blue to silvery white, quite long-lasting and resistant to fading. The flowers arise by the hundred over a season that can last 4 months or more. And they self-clean neatly.

Silver Easy Wave is simple to grow from our convenient pelleted seed, which should be started indoors 5 to 6 weeks before transplant to the early-spring garden. Set out plants when all danger of frost is past and the seedlings have at least 2 sets of true leaves. Silver Easy Wave will begin blooming 10 to 12 weeks after sowing. It is magnificent in hanging baskets, window boxes, and large containers, as well as an unrivalled ground cover for bright sun. Stupendous.
