Calathea Medallion (Calathea veitchiana), commonly called prayer plant, makes a fantastic, bold statement piece that will stand out in your indoor jungle or brighten any room in your home or office.

A mesmerizing houseplant, Calathea Medallion has a bushy habit of large, wavy-edged, emerald-green leaves, artfully patterned with painterly stripes and splotches in shades of green, white, and silver and prettily accented with splashes of the same pinky purple color that solidly coats the leaves’ underside, which is beautifully exposed when new leaves first emerge from the base and gracefully unfurl and as they gently curl at night.

This tropical understory rainforest plant thrives in indoor conditions that best mimic its natural habitat of warm temperatures, high humidity, and bright but indirect light, often found in bathrooms and kitchens. Under optimal conditions, Calathea Medallion may grow up to 3 feet tall at maturity, but more often averages 2 feet tall and wide.

Calathea Medallion is a great gift plant. It makes a stunning housewarming gift or hostess gift, but it’s also perfect for get-well, birthday, and thank-you gifts as well as business to business gifts.

Returns
If seeds fail to leave China, we will refund your payment 100%. But if seeds fail to reach you due to customs problem on your side which we were not informed in advance, we will not be able to bear any loss, and no refund will be made.
We sell only viable plants seeds online, and test germination of our seeds from time to time. So we will not be able to refund for seeds that clients fail to germinate, unless we are convinced that it's truly problem of our seeds.
