Kiwi are dioecious and require cross-pollination of a male and female plant for fruit production. Male plants pollinate female plants but do not fruit. To make kiwi growing easy, we have done the research for you and have included 2 varieties in our Kiwi Kit, a male and a female, that work best together.
These attractive, ornamental vines grow easily and vigorously, resist pests and diseases, and produce abundant crops of delicious and nutritious fruit, high in vitamin C. The vine grows thick and dense with foliage and attracts birds and bees. The leaves can be cooked and eaten, mainly as an herb.
Saanichton (female), selected in British Columbia, Canada, is a unique, heavy-producing variety with large, sweet, and flavorful fruits. Compared to Hayward, it ripens a little earlier and is a bit hardier, making it a good choice for cooler regions.
Male Fuzzy (male) does not bear fruit but can pollinate up to 8 female plants. It has a long spring bloom period in which the vine is covered with fragrant, bright white flowers. Young foliage is purple green, becoming green with pink and white variegation in early summer, aging solid green.

If seeds fail to leave China, we will refund your payment 100%. But if seeds fail to reach you due to customs problem on your side which we were not informed in advance, we will not be able to bear any loss, and no refund will be made.
We sell only viable plants seeds online, and test germination of our seeds from time to time. So we will not be able to refund for seeds that clients fail to germinate, unless we are convinced that it's truly problem of our seeds.
